L-shelf system has been awarded the Interior Innovation Award 2012. L-shelf was presented for competition by Arré design agency from the Netherlands, and it is designed by Juan Pablo Quintero of Mediodesign studio in Barcelona. The award, a competition organised by the German Design Council and IMM Cologne, will have a final round in January, when the 15 prizes for “best of the best 2012” will be awarded during the opening party of IMM Cologne.
L-shelf system is a modular product which through clever design creates an easy-to-assemble book shelf, without tools, hardware or additional pieces. Flexible, intuitive and elegant,
L-shelf system can be assembled in different configurations.
L-shelf will be available in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Denmark and the U.K. from January 23th 2012 through Arré.
L-shelf is available in Spain through Mediodesign studio in Barcelona.
In the U.S., Fab.com has sold the first L-shelf systems in 2011 with great success.
Arré design agency will be present at IMM Cologne (Hall 3.2 booth C051) presenting products of Mediodesign studio Barcelona, Buisjes en Beugels (Rotterdam, The Netherlands), Michiel van Wallenstein (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) and BlueChains (U.S.A.).
