Visitors to the “Hotel of the Future” walked on ultra-compact Dekton® flooring at Fiturtech

The Cosentino Group took part in the Hotel of the Future project which goes under the name of “ITH Travelinmotion by Emotion Experience”, on display at Fiturtech, the main forum for tourism innovation and technology organised by the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH). 
At this year’s fair, which ended on 24 January, the ITH and the sensory marketing company Emotion Experience designed an exhibition area that recreated the experiences and sensations that visitors to the Hotel of the Future enjoyed. The space, at Stand B3 of Pavilion 10, recreated a sensory hotel covering 200 metros2 where visitors experienced a space which seeks to awaken the five senses through sound, lighting, fragrance and audiovisual elements. The “hotel guests” immersed themselves in an installation in which digital conceptualisation of space, where new technologies were the driving force. In line with this commitment to innovation and technology in the hotel sector, Cosentino took part in this initiative with its Dekton® product, which has been used to cover the floors of the hotel’s main areas, due to its excellent characteristics and physical properties. This is the case in the “Zensorial Lounge”, a spa and wellness area where the floor is covered with Kelya-colour Dekton® Natural Collection stone. This colour is dark and well-rounded, with a delicate marbling offering unique designs. The same stone colour has been used in the jacuzzi which also features in this hotel installation. 
Meanwhile, in the bar installation, Keranium-colour stone covers 42 metres2, completing Cosentino’s hotel flooring. In this area, the most cutting-edge materials on the market have been used, such as Dekton® and the very latest sensory technologies. This stone colour can also be found in the Tech Collection – due to its industrial aesthetic, it has been used on the counter of this bar. Finally, the characteristics and versatility of Dekton® could also be seen at the CEHAT and ITH desks, both in Zenith-colour stone and situated in the hotel entrance.
