Just announced the shortlist for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2019, seven Spanish spaces have been selected in the international categories for the final cut
As every year, for 11 years, the well-known Restaurant & Bar Design Awards announced its shortlist for this 11th edition. The shortlist includes 329 entries from 276 projects in 43 different categories.
Among the international categories we find up to seven selected Spanish restaurants / bars.
The restaurant with more nominations is New York Burger, in Madrid, designed by studio Proyecto Singular, which is finalist in the “Europe Restaurant”, “Lighting” and “Surface Interiors” categories.
It is followed by another project from the same studio, Proyecto Singular, the Botania restaurant in Madrid, with two nominations, “Europe Restaurant” and “Biophilic Design”.

In Madrid, the Ginkgo Sky Bar, designed by Studio Gronda, is finalist in the “Europe Bar” category.
And last but not least, the Fire & Bread restaurant designed by Isabel Lopez Vilalta + Associates in La Roca del Vallés, Barcelona, is a finalist in the “Fast Casual” category.

The winners of the 2019 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards (including best overall winners) will be announced during a ceremony at London's King's Cross on the 3rd October.
