In the heart of the historical center of Lucca - in Tuscany - within its medieval walls, Marco Vincenzi and Andrea Caturegli of Studiòvo sign “Canticle“, a prestigious residence of 120 square meters that merges ancient, modern and latest technology.
Divided into living area with living room and kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms with hammam and a generous terrace with panoramic city views, the spaces are enhanced by natural materials such as oak and linen and curtains and fabrics of great elegance, also chosen by Studiòvo, who also handled the graphic design of this international project.
In the residence we can find breaking furniture, different from the classical style typical of Lucca context, that favors essential and simple lines, soft colors - white and dove gray on all - with details of contemporary design, like the Eames Chairs from Vitra and the Jamaica lights by Foscarini, which alternate with well-tailored elements created by designers and made by Italian artisans of Officine 3076. And if the lighting devices reign supreme, with modules able to create always new atmospheres, the kitchen surprises the eyes with sinuously curved surfaces.
