Moneo Brock Studio created the Sonia D collection for Ecus inspired by the work of Sonia Delaunay artist

The prestigious studio Moneo Brock participates in ICON and they have specially designed the Sonia D collection.

Belén Moneo and Jeff Brock established Moneo Brock Studio in 1993 in New York, after they first worked together in the design of a loft in Tribeca. The studio establishd the head office in Madrid in 2002. At present they work in Spain, USA, Mexico and Dominican Republic.

The great Ukranian painter and designer Sonia Delaunay inspired the design of Sonia D collection. The design of this sofa clearly points out shapes, colours and circles in a humble way, just what abstract artists used to do.

Sonia D sofa has a compact design, clear patterns, soft curves and bright colours. It looks as if it was cast from a single mould, but in fact it has been manually assembled through a semi-industrial and handmade process.

An original collection with curved back and armrests that invite us to gather with family and friends. The collection is made of: sofa, armchair and stool.

Its reduced shape and the inviting appearance allow us to put it in different areas: a small room, a hotel room, lobbies, front offices... It can always be combined with contemporary pieces of furniture.

Sonia D is a complete collection since we can find different furniture: 2-seat sofa, 3-seat sofa, armchair, stool and sofa-bed. The sofa-bed design is perfect for hotels and contract projects. Sonia D has the perfect look and easily adapts to hotels, offices, waiting rooms, homes... The design perfectly balances quality and comfort.
