Once again DANYÉ will be exhibiting at Maison & Objet trade fair in Paris, to be held from 18th to 22th January, in a space located in Hall 1 Stand D80.
Old recuperated chairs and fabrics, inspired by childhood memories of the artist. Handmade in Southafrica, the chairs come from old public schools and recuperated to create designer handmade chairs. This southafrican artist also creates fabrics, cushions, poufs and silhouettes all with pictures and images of herself and her family at the school.
This “Memories” collection will be completed with big signature pieces and traditional african baskets in black and white.
DANYÉ and GONE RURAL also suggest spiral patterns for the beautiful lavumisa baskets and combinations with materials like aluminum in mustard and grey colours.
These products and many more will be exhibited at the Maison&Objet show in Paris this coming January where DANYÉ has been once again selected with the label ARCHI.DESIGNER.
