Ecus, has always been constant when it comes to manufacturing functional and comfortable elements. The purpose of the new collection Icon is to convey well-being in a calm way, having in mind some specific concepts: creativity and reliability.
Designers with extensive experience such as Alía, Barasona, Calamita Valderas, Moneo Brock, Requena y Plaza and Sapey were chosen. This was key to achieve an accurate performance. The duty: to obtain a design that conveys the relationship between architectural space and personal well-being.
Sonia D by Moneo Brock
The great Ukranian painter and designer Sonia Delaunay, representative of abstract art, inspired us. The design of this sofa clearly points out shapes, colours and circles in a humble way, just what abstract artists used to do.
Morgan by Calamita Valderas
Versatility, soft shapes, emphasized edges, classic but modern inspiration.
Carmela by Carmen Barasona

Alía by Tomás Alía
Inspired by geometry and plain elements. The mixture of straight lines and the colour scheme give us a solid piece of furniture.
19315 by Requena y Plaza
Inspiration comes from the search of a timeless and adaptable product. Basic geometric shapes, like cubes, have been used.
Zaniah by Teresa Sapey

Vega by Teresa Sapey
Inspired by Spanish landscapes, as its name evokes, Vega is an armchair with soft and curved lines. Tradition is another source of inspiration, such as the U seat, which is a clear allusion to medieval Castilian seats.
Mulyrae by Teresa Sapey
Comfort and design go hand in hand in this piece. Polyhedral shapes and the chromatic contrast turn Mulyrae into a unique sofa.
‘We understand icons as valued, appealing and unique treasures, which have a link with the represented object, with no distractions. This is why Icon's modular sofas, sofa-beds, armchairs and stools are a clear example of functional and comfortable pieces of furniture. The simplicity of the design guarantees a long lifetime for private or contract spaces, naturally taking part in all kinds of public places, living rooms or bedrooms.’ Ecus
