The Spanish firms KETTAL, GANDIA BLASCO and TAGAR, all of them associated to ANIEME , the Spanish Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Exporters, participated at IMM COLOGNE in January, from 16th to 22nd, reporting having done good business.
Gandia Blasco
Over the last years, IMM COLOGNE has regained its position as one of the main event of the furnishing and contract sector. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as Germany's economy has grown faster than any other else in the EU, leading to a more confident and optimistic mood in the country. As a result, consumptions have increased significantly turning Germany into the European market with better business opportunities for furniture companies. As far as Spain is concern, its exports of furniture to Germany have increased by 16.5% in the period January to November 2011, amounting to more than 9 million euros.
