Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2013 recognise the world best designed restaurants

The winners of the 2013 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards were announced last night at a ceremony held at the Farmiloe Building in Clerkenwell, London. Höst in Denmark, by Norm Architects, took home the award for ‘Best Restaurant’. ‘Best Bar’ award going to Foster + Partners for the Atrium Champagne in London. The ice cream shop in Girona, designed by Sandra Tarruella Interioristas, Rocambolesc, was awarded the prize for best “Europe Bar”.

Leading architects, interior and lighting designers, and hospitality operators from around the world gathered to recognise the latest innovative and inspiring designs to be found in the food and drink establishments in the UK and abroad. Now in their fifth year, the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards received 670 submissions from the UK and 60 other countries.
