The Cádiz interior design studio Velvet Projects presents one of its latest works, the renovated ice cream shop El Malagueño in Barbate (Cádiz, Spain).
According to the studio, the project has been carried out, applying a new point of view, unifying spaces both structurally and aesthetically, considerably increasing the natural light received by the premises and making it much more accessible to the exterior.
For the new ice cream parlor of El Malagueño, a compact design was proposed, without filters, with a very defined vertebral axis.
The bar is the nerve center of activity and space, a compact nucleus of superimposed concentric rings, from which all orbit.
The interior opens to the outside, allowing the user to contemplate the rhythm of the street and the breathtaking views that the Strait offers us from here.
The result is therefore fresh, cozy and bright, a timeless space, to which we have tried to print a character of its own, with a very defined and personal image.
