“Silestone® Slab Vases”, designed by Form Us With Love, wins "Best Trend" Accolade at Wallpaper Design Awards 2013

Cosentino®, the world leader in the production and distribution of quartz, natural stone and recycled surfaces is delighted to announce that Silestone Slab Vases by Form Us With Love has scooped the prestigious Accolade of the Wallpaper Design Awards 2013, for the new category “Best Trend”. The publication has announced this in its February edition, with a feature dedicated to its annual design awards. “It is a great honor for the whole Silestone® and Cosentino team to receive such recognition from the prestigious design and interior publication Wallpaper. Form Us With Love is a very talented design trio, we congratulate their talent and share our joy of this recognition with them”, says Santiago Alfonso, Marketing Director of Cosentino Group. The project Silestone® Slab Vases, created by the Swedish design studio Form Us With Love, and consists of rings of Silestone which have been slipped over a metal bracket measuring around 40cm high to produce a watertight vessel. The rings vary in size and are cut so the shape of the vase changes with each assembly. The project aims to break away from the familiar Silestone slab form and explore the material’s tactile dimension.
