Loyal to our tracing of "2012 Designs for Nature" project, carried out by Finnish company Nikari, we present you the "October" chair, designed by Samuli Naamanka. According to designer Samuli Naamaka, "OCTOBER chair was inspired by the rainy but colourful Finnish autumn. My goal was to design a stackable chair - the October winds had their special effect on the light forms and curves." The Project 2012 Designs for Nature has been carried out by Nikari in co-operation with the Finnish WWF, and is based in the manufacture of 12 products during the 12 months of the year by 12 recognized designers over the world, who use local forests’ wood and part od the sales price is donated to protecting rainforests and forests globally.
