Andreu World receives 4 Best products Awards at NeoCon 2013 in Chicago

Andreu World, the international furniture company with over 55 years of experience in contemporary and cutting edge design, recently received 4 prizes awarded to new collections at the NeoCon show held from 10th to 12th June in Chicago. The New Sit collection receives a “Gold Award” prize, the highest award given to the best stackable chair in the event.

NeoCon is one of the major meeting points for professionals in the furniture and habitat sector in the United States. The annual event brings together over 40.000 visitors and 700 exhibitors in the Merchandise Mart building, where Andreu World has a permanent showroom.

The New Sit collection, designed by Lievore Altherr Molina, has been awarded the “Gold Award” in the category of “stacking” for its great stackability and versatility.

In turn, the new Lineal Corporate line of chairs obtained another Best of NeoCon Award in category of “Seating/ Guest“. The jury highlighted its functional design and studied elegance and proportion, which make it ideal for architectural spaces and uses many different styles and a well suited product for public and office spaces.

Also, Agora and Manfred collections earned two Best of NeoCon awards in the category “Sofas and Lounge“, highlighting its great comfort, design and versatility of uses.

A total of 300 products in 40 categories of products and furniture were featured at the current edition of the Best of NeoCon Awards. The competition is sponsored by the U.S. magazine Contract, Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), The International Facility Management Association (IFFMA) and McMorrowReport.com
