Studiòvo designs the ticket office and the bookshop of the Museum dedicated to musician Giacomo Puccini

New “aria” to the ticket office and the bookshop of the Museum dedicated to Giacomo Puccini, thanks to the work of conversion and interior design signed Studiòvo.

In the eighteenth century Palazzo Mazzarosa, in front of the birthplace of the famous musician from Lucca, Marco Vincenzi and Andrea Caturegli have given new life to a noble and ancient stage, left in oblivion for too many years. Where, in fact, centuries ago, carriages were passing to access the inner courtyard of the building, today the designers have created a unique environment, perfect to accommodate visitors to the Puccini Museum.

In the space used as bookshop and ticket office, bi-chromatic contrasts play the role of protagonists. The white, designed to give prominence to merchandising, is reflected in the bright walls lit by Q8 lamps signed Martinelli Luce, in the details of the counter display cases and in the lacquered wood counter dominated by Elica lamps, always by Martinelli. Gritty and strong, the red, used for the back wall and the sofa fabric made, like all the other furnishings, from local craftsmen. Elegantly simple and genuinely clean, the design, although contemporary, gives way to memory, as reflected in the original eighteenth century floor.

A teaching purposes, it is instead designed the environment on the back, overlooking a courtyard. Here, visitors, comfortably seated on the Riga red chairs by Desalto, are entertained with video projections and stories relating to the life and works of the author of masterpieces such as Tosca, Bohème and Turandot.

The bathrooms, with funny graphics, complete the project by Studiòvo for the Puccini Foundation.
