The company MASOF, INC a delegate for Actiu for the promotion and dissemination of its brand and products in the state of Florida, in collaboration with USA Office Furniture, distributors of office equipment, have opened a new showroom in Miami to serve its designers, prescribers and collaborators where the Actiu product has a prominent space as a benchmark of quality and European design.
This is another step for Actiu positioning its strategy in a difficult and competitiveness in the U.S. market. A market, above in Florida, which dominates the majority of Latin America, with growing spending power. The Hispanic population in the United States exceeds 50 million and is the fastest breakthrough in the country. During 2010 it generated revenue of a billion dollars and in 2015 it is expected to be one and a half billion. Its economic strength as well as its electoral strength is becoming stronger.
Actiu is looking, with its presence in Miami and progressively in other American cities, to address the growing demand for a differentiated American product. The European product, specifically the Spanish due to its roots, culture and traditions that unite the Hispanic and Spanish communities is increasingly requested and appreciated as it is positioned as an exclusive product, synonymous with great quality and innovative design.
The opening event brought together the presidents of USA Office Furniture, Fernando López; from MASOF, Julian Duque and the president and founder of Actiu, Vicente Berbegal, who explained the history of the company over its 45 years, with presence in currently more than 65 countries and with its Technology Park recognised as the first Industrial project in Europe certified LEED® Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.
The event was attended by around one hundred guests; partners, designers and prescribers from Miami who showed their interest in the solutions offered by the Actiu brand.
