B.lux, the manufacturing brand of contemporary designer lighting, has released the Tube, an outdoor beacon model designed by Josep Lluis Xuclà. This is a lamp with a slim look, evocative of natural elements like reed and cane.
Colours available include khaki, white and Corten, allowing this new beacon lamp to meld into surrounding landscapes and vegetation.
The Tube is manufactured in two height options, 90 and 180 cm, both available with one or two adjustable LED heads. Its adaptability allows the user to set the Tube for down-light or up-light, to illuminate roads, facades, trees, etc. To this end, the Tube's LED light source features a reflector to fine-tune the lamp's beam.
To make possible its use in outdoor settings, the Tube comes with a spike as an accessory for its installation in gardens, turning the Tube into a portable outdoor lamp equipped with a 3.5-meter cable.
The Tube is one of the new releases in the outdoor lighting catalogue of B.lux, a manufacturer of designer lighting since 1980. It was presented at the latest edition of the Light+Building fair in Frankfurt.
