The new Helix designed by Favaretto & Partners for B-Line, a solid wood chair with a structure reminiscent of Bauhaus experiments in cabinetmaking.
HELIX is a chair to observe and admire, following the spiral of its lovely, long back “legs”, whose various cross-sections recall the elegant screw shape of a propeller and end in the slender curved backrest.
The version with the backrest featuring a corset of elasticised cord transforms HELIX into a distinctive graphic mark which, along with the beech wood grain, makes its eclectic dynamism even more evident.
The version with seat upholstered in Kvadrat fabric adds a softness and warmth to the natural feel of wood.
