The specialist firm in office furniture arrives at Habitat Fair with an extensive and a totally renovated program adapted to the new trends in work spaces and collective spaces. Mobility, Mit and Uka are the undisputed stars of this show.
The spanish firm Actiu has an industrial track record in the sector of installation, specializing in the creation of furniture for workspaces and collective areas, its flexibility and capacity production allow the development of comprehensive projects of equipment at a global level providing solutions that favour the wellbeing of people in the development of their profession.
Habitat Fair is an unmissable event and unique in our country, for its international character, design and new trends and where Actiu will present its latest star Mobility Desks and its collective chair Uka. The visitors will be able to get to know, for the first time at this show, the TNK A500 chair, the winner of Red Dot 2012 and the infinite possibilities of URBAN and MIT.
Actiu at Feria Habitat Valencia 2011
Actiu has improved and expanded its main programs adapting itself to the new standards of eco-design and sustainable productivity, optimizing the use of materials and employing 85% of recyclable elements.
Mobility, designed by Javier Cuñado for Actiu and within the operative desks, offers multiple possibilities of height adjustment, dividers, covers and electrification channels, both for individual and double desks and therefore can achieve the desired workspace.
UKA, a design by Alegreindustrial Studio, is a monoblock chair with flowing lines and very cutting edge capable of providing versatile both in public and private spaces. A democratic and innovate concept. UKA is characterized by its lightweight and continuity of shapes mounted on a metal frame which adapts to any necessity. It provides flexibility to equip training, educational, collective and multi-use rooms spaces, adapting itself to the new academic and work needs.
The seductiveness of the operative chair TNK A500, awarded the Red Dot 2012, will be present at the Habitat Fair to conquer the hearts of the visitors. Its die-cast aluminum construction allows the development of a range thus giving solutions to any personalized needs, creating a high perceived quality along with comfortable shapes.
URBAN by Javier Cuñado, is a family of chairs created under the concept of open architecture whose structure allows infinite combinations of legs, cantilever, seats, backs, arms and accessories. Its unlimited possibilities make it suitable for any environment or space such as auditoriums, cafes, multi-purpose rooms, libraries, training rooms, etc.
Mit, a creation of Alegreindustrial Studio, arrives at Habitat Fair completely renovated. Its new interior structure is a result of extensive research and long term experience in manufacture of polyurethane chairs and upholstery. Universal and daring, Mit has reinvented itself converting it into a more comfortable, lighter and precise product.
Actiu Technological Park was the first european industrial building to obtain the LEED Gold certification. A certificate that acknowledges the sustainability of its buildings and efficient energy policies of the company and which Actiu, in its effort to improve every day, uses in all of its productive processes and product programs.
Commitment to the future
Once again Actiu maintains its commitment to the latest generation of designers. With its own production, Actiu transforms the material looking towards the future. Searching through their own proposals for furnishing the balance, sustainability and beauty. The relationship with young people is fundamental to the company. Valencia Design Week
Besides the presence in Habitat exhibition, Actiu will show through the presentation done by Alegreindustrial Studio in Valencia Design Week, the “Making of” of the design of the task chair TNK A500 and UKA collective chair.
Alegreindustrial Studio is one of the Actiu contributors. They have been the designers of his latest creations, the award-winning A500 TNK, UKA and the AUDIT program, among others.
The exhibition will take place in Studio2, Calle del Mar 42, 46003 Valencia, from the 18th to 22th September 2012. The opening is on the 19th September at 19.00 hours.
