Matthias Pollmann is new Interzum trade fair Project Manager

A change at the helm of interzum: with effect from 01.01.2012, Matthias Pollmann is the new Project Manager of the world's leading trade fair for suppliers to the furniture industry and interior finishing. He succeeds Frank Haubold, who had been responsible for interzum since 2005 and has been Vice President Trade Fair Management since November 2011.

Matthias Pollmann has been working as Sales Manager of interzum since 2008 and is thus already more than familiar with all matters relating to this important trade fair. He was in charge of the sections fittings and lighting, as well as wood/veneers and other trade fair projects such as the “Innovation of Interior” forum for architecture and interior finishing.

The 29-year-old business management graduate completed two internships in Koelnmesse's Corporate Development division whilst still a student. In October 2006, Pollmann started as a trainee with the Cologne trade fair company, which entailed periods in several departments: as well as booth construction, controlling, visitor marketing and media relations, he was also assigned responsibilities in marketing - including for interzum.

Matthias Pollmann is taking over the position of interzum Project Manager from Frank Haubold, who became Vice President Trade Fair Management of the trade fairs FSB / aquanale, LivingInteriors, LivingKitchen, imm cologne, interzum and ORGATEC with effect from 01. November 2011.
