Easel and Nara, the new products by Odosdesign for Arlex presented at iSaloni 2015

Arlex, the Catalonian Company specializing in the manufacture of high-end household furniture, has presented in the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan two of latest designs by Odosdesign: Easel, the new ARLEX's valet and NARA the new storage system of the firm.

NARA is a storage system where they seek the complete integration of the handle in the piece of furniture. The handle is integrated in the product itself as a flush pull handle, which is hidden in the frame, which limits by the front pieces and imitating the aesthetics of a painting's frame. The interplay between the edge and the frame offers many possibilities to combine finishes and colours so that the piece can be adjusted to different areas with very varied aesthetics.

Easel is the new ARLEX's valet. However, it's actually much more than that. It's an auxiliary piece of furniture, which can be used not only for hanging clothes during the day but also for other parts of the house. A product of high elegance and efficiency, made from oak wood and with the possibility of being lacquered in different colours.

Apart from these two novelties, there were also previous pieces which were already present in the catalogue like the new collection of W-Collection wardrobes or the Moon tables have been exhibited in the Arlex stand.

W-Collection is the new collection of home wardrobes which have been presented in the Milan Furniture Fair. Wardrobes with clean lines and aimed for the household that, with a single construction system, allow for a wide range of versatile different fronts. The socle helps us integrate the collection with the rest of elements in the room, offering continuity and absorbing auxiliary parts and decoration.

The Arlex's Moon tables have been designed to merge the highest efficiency and design. With its curved lines, it's a very versatile product which can function as a bedsit table or as an auxiliary piece by a sofa or an armchair. Its two heights make it possible to place objects on the top or below, like a magazine rack. It has been manufactured in bentwood and it is available in lacquered in different colours.

Odosdesign has integrated all the new Arlex collection in a stand which they had designed to provide these spaces with the maximum reality and warmth possible. The firm wanted a space divided in different environments: home environments next to work environments visible from all angles. With indirect light highlighting each piece of furniture and a varied work of props and decoration, they have designed a warm and cozy environment which welcomes the visitor to present the company's new products in the most natural and direct way possible.

ODOSDESIGN are Luis Calabuig, María Mengual y Ana Segovia, a design studio specialized in product design, art direction and graphic design since 2005. They view the design of new products as an ongoing daily process, as a reflection on the different lifestyles and the needs that each of them entails. They are influenced by everyday experiences. They watch everything around us and analyse how we react to these things, since their future designs will also be around us and will become part of our reality.
