Lebay Beach Hotel is a Mediterranean retreat, which overlooks a little bay of Cyprus’ southeastern coast. The hotel has been recently renovated by the De Grussa Larkou architectural studio, pursuing the aim to realize a destination, where low-key style blends with elegance in order to offer a soothing atmosphere.
Alysoid collection of Axolight, created by the Japanese designer Ryosuke Fukusada, has been chosen by the architects in natural brass finish and installed in groups composed of three of the four sizes available in catalogue.
More than twenty lamps accompany the guest during his stay: starting from the hall, continuing to the lounge area for a welcome drink, tasting the best of Mediterranean cuisine at Marique Restaurant, and finally allowing yourself a moment of relaxation with a look at the sea.
The interiors enjoy a vibrant light, filtered by elegant curtains, which create a soft drapery and recall the precious draped chains that define the diffuser of Alysoid pendant lamps. Thanks to the full-height windows which foster a seamless connection between ground and sky, the space is permeated by air and light.
As for the exterior design, the futuristic lowrise modern architecture of the hotel reveals a boutique personality. The structure, which overlooks a farreaching sandy beach, doesn’t occlude the view, appearing naturally integrated with Larnaca's skyline.
