The Designers’ Association of the Valencian Community (ADCV) awarded the ADCV prize for product design to the Valencian firm “Sentat” for their “Punto” cushions designed by Studio Inma Bermúdez.
The awards given by this association promote Valencian design in different specialities, and are the first prize harvested by this young company which produces complementary products for public spaces.
“Punto” are polyurethane cushions specifically designed for public spaces. They are resistant to water, fire and UV rays. They are comfortable, easy to store seats available in a wide range of colours, making them extremely versatile. The silver prize for design awarded to Studio Inma Bermúdez thus recognises “the inspiration work for creative, unusual, relaxing spaces that help describe new ways of work, learning and interaction.”
“This award is an enormous boost for us, but above all it confirms the commitment and strategy of our brand to bring in the best teams such as Studio Inma Bermúdez”, claims Sentat's CEO, Pilar Castilla.
Sentat has agents in different European countries for the international marketing of its products, which are already in use in places such as Caxton College in Puzol, offices in Madrid and the Espazio 32 business centre designed by Cuarto Interior and also in schools in Norway and projects in France and China.
The Valencian firm has two models of “Punto” cushions in its catalogue, and the accessories to store them and is already working on other complementary products for designing public spaces.
