Opening of the "Design: España" exhibition at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Bordeaux

On 14 June, Bordeaux City Council will be presenting the exhibition “Design: España” which can be visited in the Fine Arts Gallery of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Bordeaux until 16 September 2013. The exhibition aims to reveal Spanish design creativity to the French public through some of the country's most iconic designers and Spanish companies whose state-of-the-art products have acquired global fame.

“Design: España” will occupy about 700 square meters on two floors. Downstairs will be shown the most current pieces and products created by Spanish designers great international today as Patricia Urquiola and Jaime Hayon among others. And on the first floor will display the most emblematic pieces of Spanish culture that have been the source and inspiration of industrial and graphic design today. Among the scheduled events highlight the lecture by famous Spanish designer Javier Mariscal with the name of “Colors” on June 21.
