Interior designer Nuria Alia has a clear vocation to create different spaces. His projects reflect a personal and functional design adapted to each of his clients. A lover of antiques, painting and special objects, he is always looking for small objects, materials, textures and furniture that give personality to his spaces.
Today, she repeats in Casa Decor (from February 15 to March 25), one of the main events for lovers of interior design and decoration, for the second consecutive year. If in 2017 it surprised you with a bath full of color and energy, including a fresh and elegant air of fun, this new edition has opted for a bedroom to disconnect and dream. Under the name of Sweet Dreams, the space is a room to escape from the routine in a neutral and warm base environment on which a great wealth of textures and colors stand out.
“The objective is to give a fun and optimistic vision to the day to day. The bedroom invites to dream and as a nod we have designed large eyes that preside over the room. These eyes are framed by two lattices of Art Deco influence that with their geometric shapes make up the main wall. This inspiration is also reflected in the curved shapes of some furniture and wall lamps”, details Nuria Alia, creator of the space.
The room is designed with a neutral background in which the furniture and fabrics of vibrant colors stand out as well as a mixture of textures and materials that enriches the space. The bond of union has been the light that reflected in the different colors transmits a range of sensations. The fabrics and paper used in the design are by Pepe Peñalver; Hästens mattress, mattress and comforter; the skirting boards and moldings of Orac Decor, and the mechanisms and lighting belong to the Simon brand.
In the last edition, Nuria Alia was also present with the design of one of the bathrooms. In 2017, the Interior Designer bet on the Awakening of the Senses for a warm, intimate, comfortable and fun place. The goal was to create a stay that inspires, encourages and activates in the morning while at night it helps relaxation. The design also had an Art Deco wink on the floor mosaic that formed a carpet unifying all spaces and providing a fun point.
With her two participations, Nuria Alia has been a pioneer in introducing fresh air to Casa Decor with a design that conveys warmth and elegance but with a chic and fun point that escapes the most traditional line of this show. Its maxim is based on applying neutral backgrounds with touches of vibrant colors and various textures through furniture and fabrics.
