An elliptical structure similar to the orbit of a planet, within which the sun is inserted to occupy one of the two foci
The design for Nucleo, the new suspension lamp by BMB Progetti for Modo Luce, seems to come straight from the pages of Kepler's first law of planetary motion: a luminous disc which, like the sun, moves within this soft geometry, an archetypal light source.
Made in aluminium, Nucleo fits perfectly into contemporary-style settings, with its precise graphic code and light, curvaceous lines. It offers a further unique feature: it can shed its light around the surrounding space with remarkable versatility, as the very nucleus can be shifted to the desired position by sliding the luminous disc along the ellipse within which it is contained.
This is a light that will illuminate and accommodate the needs and desires of its user as easily as the slider on a zip.
