Martínez y Soler Arquitectura were the creators of the new outdoor lamp by the contemporary designer lighting manufacturer B.lux.
The Zen is an outdoor lamp that emanates indirect light, stands 50 cm tall, and is striking not only for its rational design and straight lines, but also for its slender shape and subtlety.
Designed to light residential outdoor spaces, the Zen is available in two finishes: a Corten steel structure combined with a wooden reflector; or a 316L stainless steel structure combined with a reflector of black marble from the quarries of Markina, located near the B.lux factory in the Basque Country. The way light reflects off these fine materials makes the Zen a very appealing object, even when not in use.
Thanks to its LED technology, the Zen provides both illumination and signalling with comfortable light. It is equipped with a 9W LED bulb, which also guarantees limited energy consumption.
The Zen is one of the new releases in the outdoor lighting catalogue of B.lux, a manufacturer of designer lighting since 1980, and was presented at the latest edition of the Light+Building Fair in Frankfurt.
