Storing, preparing, cooking, eating, entertaining and conversing all take place in the kitchen and prior to that at EuroCucina, the benchmark sectorial event, from 17th to 22nd April this year at the Milan Fairgrounds, Rho, as part of the Saloni (along with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Bathroom Exhibition, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition and SaloneSatellite). For the first time ever, kitchen utensils and accessories will also be featured.
Approximately 130 participants will be showcasing their wares over 27,000 square metres of exhibition space, among them the leading Italian and foreign sectorial players, with the foremost German companies in the vanguard. At pavilions 9-11 and 13-15.
EuroCucina dictates the sectoral trends, showcasing the very finest Italian and international products, catering to all tastes and all demands: from classic kitchens to designer kitchens made from a range of different materials - from metal, to brick to wood, with the accent particularly on natural solutions. Suggestions and solutions for a domestic space that has built on its original function and become increasingly a space for socialising.
As from this year, for the very first time, EuroCucina will also include all those items that make the rituals of cuisine and conviviality easier and more special: from table decorations to cooking utensils. EuroCucina will thus become the first international fair to bring the leading kitchen manufacturers and the latest table decorating trends together.
Architects, interior designers, retailers, planners and the general public, to whom the exhibition will be open on Saturday and Sunday, will now be confronted by the widest possible array of kitchen goods. The planning world is, in fact, becoming increasingly crosscutting and the worlds of kitchens and furnishing are becoming increasingly fused.
The EuroCucina layout has been redesigned to tie in with the new Salone Internazionale del Mobile format, with the two avant-garde design pavilions next to the Kitchen and Bathroom biennial exhibitions, making up an ideal visitor itinerary ranging from classical to modern, design to precursors of tomorrow's products and the electrical appliances of the future. An added bonus this year will be areas designed and furnished by the architect Piero Russi, who conceived the Gallery and Stadium for the last edition of SaloneUfficio. These business/relaxation spaces are for the exclusive use of exhibitors and their clients.
