From classic and elegant to bright and loud –Tendence in Frankfurt (24 to 28 August 2012) not only presents the latest autumn, winter and Christmas trends but also offers an overview of new products for the coming spring and summer season. Thus, during the five days of the fair, trade visitors and designers have the opportunity to place their orders at the most important consumer-goods fair in the second half of the year. The Upgrade bonus package and the Upgrade Area in Hall 9.2 represent supplementary benefits and services for the lifestyle retail trade. Valuable Partner Vouchers, personal assistance and free admission to the fair help retailers make their visit to the fair even more efficient and effective. Benefits and Partners of the Upgrade Area The Upgrade Area offers a host of benefits. For example, Upgrade Exhibitor Partners take part solely in Tendence and exhibit at no regional fairs so that buyers can place their orders with them exclusively in Frankfurt. Moreover, the voucher booklet gives them even more attractive conditions for doing business with the Exhibitor Partners. The Upgrade Area in Hall 9.2 is the idea place for visitors wanting to network with colleagues or take a break from the hustle and bustle of the fair. There, they will also not only find important information about this year’s highlights and special shows but can also attend interesting lectures. For example, Media Partner ‘stil & markt’ will hold a lecture entitled ‘The gia – exemplary visual merchandising from all around the world’, which is to be given by visual merchandising expert Wolfgang Gruschwitz, Managing Director of Gruschwitz GmbH in Munich and member of the international jury of experts of the gia business award, at 15.00 hrs on 25 August. But that’s not all: during the whole Sunday, the editorial staff of the other Media Partner, ‘möbel kultur’ magazine, will give insider tips for visiting the fair and answer questions, e.g., where can I discover new products and what are the trends for the coming season? Additionally, visitors who enjoy games can test their memories and win prizes with ‘möbel kultur’ magazine in the Upgrade Area throughout the fair. Taking part in the Upgrade programme is a guarantee of success at the fair. “With our Upgrade bonus package and the expertise of our Media and Exhibitor Partners, we offer retailers with lifestyle products a service tailored perfectly to their needs”, says Sabine Scharrer, Director, Living at Tendence. That the Upgrade package is so full of benefits is thanks to the participation of the following Exhibitor Partners: ASA Selection GmbH, Brasa Europe GmbH, GUAXS Company, H. Andreas GmbH, KARE Design GmbH, Lambert GmbH, pajoma Ingo Steyer KG, RMI-Concept GmbH, Scholtissek GmbH & Co. KG and van Roon Living. “We are delighted that these Partners are making their contribution to the highly attractive range of benefits offered by the Upgrade bonus package”, says Scharrer. Online registration from mid-June Buyers from companies with up to ten employees active in the gifts and furnishing sector, as well as the glass, porcelain and ceramic trade, benefit form free admission to Tendence and an invitation to the Upgrade Area. The package of services and benefits was very well received by more than 3,400 participants at last year’s Tendence. Trade buyers can register on the Messe Frankfurt website at www.upgrade-lifestyle.messefrankfurt.com from mid-June.
