“De-shiny” moments by Furniture From Greece during imm Cologne 2012

The 22nd of January found imm Cologne to be completing with full success. For the first time, 6 Greek companies were also there! By the communication brand “Furniture From Greece”, they joined forces and offered an exquisite product demonstration. The Greek pavilion was the “place to be”, as the majority of the visitors stepped by, with hesitation in the beginning but as soon as they had a first glance they were all interested in learning more about the Greek design effect. Additionally, representatives of the international design sector applauded the Greek mission. They had all a good word to say about the groundbreaking designs as well as the modern and classy presentation. Industrial designers, architects, decorators agents, retailers or simply manufacturers were all eager to know more on the techniques, materials and methods used in order to reach this result. As for the media, the majority of them was without doubt in favor of the Greek attempt. They were totally astonished by the products demonstrated as they seemed nothing like what they were waiting for. This is true; the designs reflected not in the least the severe economic recession of the country. On the contrary, it seems like the designers have taken advantage of the crisis so as to be more creative and artistic. So, Furniture From Greece absolutely shined during this year’s imm Cologne. The designs shown were worthy of being included among the best designs presented during the fair. Besides, the international market seems to think the same as well.
