Fast, among the leading Italian manufacturers in the outdoor furniture sector, presents in Cologne iconic products that characterized the company's evolution until now, one above all the bestseller Forest chair, and presents to the German market the new concepts and collections created with the collaboration with Studio Lievore Altherr..
The Zebra and Moai collections designed by the Barcelona located studio for Fast were presented as prototypes at the Salone del Mobile in Milan last April and are now on the market for the next
spring/summer season. Starting point of this project was the need to create decor solutions ideal for all seasons and settings. The collections were conceived to perfectly match one with the other: although they are all characterized by a unique style, they create a matching look all together, in harmony with nature.
The Zebra collection includes a chair with or without armrests, a lounge chair, a set of tables and a side table with three adjustable heights; the chairs can be accented with back and seat cushions made from fabric designed for outdoor use and that is resistant to water, oil, UV rays, splitting and abrasion. Thanks to
durable die-cast aluminum, ideal for both residential and contract use, the Zebra collection combines the material's strength with the shapes’ lightness, the perfect synthesis of all natural elements. Especially the backrest lines, with their subtle reference to the imperfection of the natural world, recreate the
organic and magically irregular effect that characterizes the wood and stone veins.
Inspired by a tree spreading its roots in the ground, the tables in the Moai collection are designed with
versatility in mind. The slender frame provides sturdy yet visually lightweight foundation to elegant painted aluminum tabletops available in rectangle, square or circle surfaces. The Moai tables are partners of all the chair of the Fast range, realizing multiple solutions for both residential and contract use.
