FIRST LOOK Delivers More Star Power and Fresh Products for Retailers and Designers looking for What's New; Two Popular HGTV Hosts/Lifestyle Experts, Monica Pedersen and Emily Henderson, chat tableside with Julie Smith Vincenti.

The Summer 2013 Las Vegas Market, taking place July 29-August 2, will offer attendees a week-long roster of compelling educational sessions designed to stimulate retailers and designers, and kicks off with a double header of the flagship program, FIRST LOOK, on Monday and Tuesday.

Two editions of the popular new product program will be on tap for market attendees—aptly titled FIRST LOOK: Home Furnishings and FIRST LOOK: Tabletop+Gifts—and this summer will feature more designer prowess and new-to-market products than ever before. Two talented and widely adored HGTV personalities, Monica Pedersen and Emily Henderson, will join home trends editor, Julie Smith Vincenti, for an entertaining, fast-paced look at the hottest new product introductions debuting at Las Vegas Market.

“On Monday morning, Emily and I will present a curated assortment of furniture, area rugs, lighting, textiles and more. Then, Monica joins me Tuesday morning with a program that highlights Las Vegas Market's newest product concentrations, such as tabletop, as well as general gift and seasonal/holiday,” said FIRST LOOK host Smith Vincenti, chief content officer of Nine Muses Media.

On Monday July 29 at 10 am, attendees will enjoy the perennial market favorite, FIRST LOOK: Home Furnishings—a must-see for retailers and designers looking for a fast track to the hottest new products debuting this season. Vincenti, a long time home trends editor, welcomes a fresh face to a seat at the cocktail table, popular blogger and interior designer, Emily Henderson; together the duo will reveal the newest looks in bedroom and accent furniture, upholstery, floor coverings, home décor in a highly visual presentation. Henderson is the season five champion of HGTV Design Star, and looks forward to bringing her eclectic style to Las Vegas Market. The seminar will take place in Building B, 16th Floor, World View and will offer attendees .1 CEU.

And, due to popular demand, Las Vegas Market introduces a spin-off edition this summer, FIRST LOOK: Tabletop+Gifts, which will spotlight the best in giftware, tabletop, textiles, and decorative objects for market attendees. One of Las Vegas Market's favorite visiting designers, Monica Pedersen, HGTV host and lifestyle expert, chats tableside with Vincenti to reveal plenty of new products and lines in the growing giftware and tabletop category at Las Vegas Market. Pedersen, author of “Make it Beautiful,” will also offer attendees no-fail tips and tricks for creating memorable and festive tablescapes to punctuate retail floors and design projects. FIRST LOOK: Tabletop+Gifts will be held on Tuesday July 29 at 10 am in Building B, 16th Floor, World View and will offer attendees .1 CEU.
