Dodó is the bed that DSIGNIO has designed for the new collection that Spanish company Mobenia will show in the Salone del Mobile in Milan, 12-17 April 2016.
The feeling of quietness that a horizontal line generates is the starting point for designing this new bed.
A series of overlapping horizontal slats shape the headboard and simulate a roof, a shelter, a place where you can take refuge. These horizontal lines combine with curved ones, softening the shapes and giving personality to the design, while contributing to generate a feeling of lightness, warmth and comfort.
Dodó can be found in different natural wood finishing, upholstered or lacquered in different colours, and they can also incorporate a light between the slats of the headboard which creates an interesting subdued atmosphere.
Different auxiliary pieces of furniture complete the set, with diverse varieties and sizes of small tables, dressers and chests of drawers.
