Enjoying nature in all its glory without sacrificing the comforts of urban life and its connectivity, this is the leitmotif of the VIVOOD Landscape Hotels - the first of which is located in the Benimantell (Alicante) in the heart of the Guadalest Valley.
Within its natural setting the small 25 room boutique hotel designed by Daniel Mayo, Agustín Marí and Pablo Vázquez consists of a series of timber and viroc pavilions that sit on metal pilotis 3 metres above the ground in order to provide unique views of the surrounding landscape. The influence of sustainability considerations and local ecology is everywhere including the interior design which features contemporary classic furniture by Viccarbe, developed by internationally recognised designers based in Valencia. Their furniture collections for lounges, receptions and waiting areas as well as the home and contract are a worldwide reference. Pieces like the Maarten chairs for the restaurant, their sturdy design and colourful upholstery choices invite conviviality.
The lounge areas and lobby are equipped with STEP sofas (Vincent Van Duysen), their cubic forms perfectly reflect the architecture of the hotel. Complimented by a series of furniture accessories such as SEASON MINI (Piero Lissoni), an ottoman of rounded forms and block colours as well as RYUTARO (Víctor Carrasco) a nestle of circular side tables whose construction and materials expresses the elegant, designer and minimalist chic that Vivood exudes.
The hotel is surrounded by 84,000 sq.m. of countryside, where clients can relax, disconnect, trek and breathe the pure air of the valley. Vivood is equipped with four heated outdoors jacuzzi suites with terraces, a panoramic restaurant, balconies, spaces for events and an infinity pool with views over the Guadalest Valley.
