The 5 models, with alternate colour tones, theme variations coming in several combinations of materials and woods, are handmade, by turning the 16 essences of Porro's collection, with the simple yet precious taste of daily, handmade objects and of artisanship.

A child's toy which is also loved by adults, universally famous, that marks the flow of time with its spins, showing new faces time after time, and enchanting with its shapes, materials and colours, it recounts Porro's life with lightness, “on tiptoe”, along the story of contemporary design and wood research which beautifies and makes the brand's proposals unique.

Founded in 1925 in Brianza, the traditional birthplace of Italian quality furniture, when the brothers Giulio and Stefano Porro established their first workshop dedicated to the production of old-style pieces of furniture produced for the newborn Milanese bourgeoisie. The company turns to Modern style in the 50's with the transition to second generation of Porro family, the cousins Carlo, Arturo and Silvio, that marks the transformation in a real industry. The participation to the Salone del Mobile di Milano just founded, was fundamental for Porro to start building its fame as a high quality firm: the sale challenges are always supported by a constant work of stylistic research, strengthened by the cooperation with some of the most important Italian designers of the period, such as Bruno Munari, commissioned for the creation of the company's logo in 1966. In the mid 80's, with the entrance of the third generation, Lorenzo, Fabio, Giovanni and Danilo Porro, design assumed a leading role in the company: the professional liaison with Piero Lissoni, Porro Art Director since 1989, started in that period. Graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, Lorenzo Porro brings the attention for design and the taste for geometrical forms: in the 90's the brand led by him specializes in modular systems for living and sleeping areas, for home and office areas, which currently constitute 70% of production and reflect its spatiality of architectural imprinting.
