Shortlist announced for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 14/15

Awards for the best designed restaurants and bars in the world, the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards announced the shortlist from the 2014/2015 entries. Among selected, we find six Spanish restaurants.

The shortlist includes 214 projects across 32 categories from the world's leading architects, interior designers, lighting designers and restaurant & bar operators.

The winners of the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards (including Best UK Restaurant, Best UK Bar and Best Overall Restaurant and Best Overall Bar) will be announced during a ceremony at London's Old Truman Brewery on the 1st October 2015.

The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, now in its seventh year, is the only awards in the world dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces. Tony Chambers (Editor in Chief of Wallpaper*), Alberto Alessi, Marcus Wareing, Thomas Heatherwick and other leading hospitality, design and lifestyle Judges have chosen the winners.

Among international categories, we find six Spanish restaurants selected for the shortlist. In the “European Restaurant” category there are three of them, “Estado Puro”, by estudi{H}ac, “Mama Campo“, by Manolo Yllera, and “Nozomi” (top image) by Masquespacio; in “European Bar” category there is “Al Tun Tun”, by Tarruella Trench, in “Decorative Lighting” category, “Montesquiero”, designed by Mas, and in the “Interior Surfaces” category, again “Mama Campo“, by Manolo Yllera and “Disfrutar” by El Equipo Creativo.
