The Light & Building trade fair (Frankfurt, from March 30 to April 04) is the venue chosen by lamp manufacturing company B.lux to provide an advance look at a new series of differentiated design lamps specially crafted to combine functionality and efficiency. These new collections, with a fresh spirit, are the work of internationally-renowned designers like Werner Aisslinger, David Abad, Stone Designs, Marco Bisenzi, and Josep Lluís Xuclà, among others.

B.lux‘s new releases include its Aspen family of colorful decorative lamps, designed by Werner Aisslinger (named Designer of the Year 2014 by A&W magazine), with the Tree Series and Hoodie collections also including new features.

David Abad, a regular collaborator with the Basque brand, pays tribute to Charles Eames with his new Wire Light collection. Abad also presents an expansion of the Phi decorative family, along with the architectural lighting systems Deep Cove and Anvil, and the 20/20 and Lap Bench outdoor lamps.

Another novelty is the Scout suspension lamp, a collaboration with Stone Designs. Despite its decidedly decorative aesthetics, the Scout lamp collection was developed with the firm intention of forming part of the most demanding architectural projects, due to its distinct technical functionality. Its suitability for contract projects stems from the volume of its screen - 60 cm in diameter - as well as its versatility in the direction of its light.

The B.lux stand at this edition of Light & Building has reserved a special place for its classics, iconic designer lamps such as the Regina and Bluebird, trendsetters in the 1980s which have now been given new twists, with attractive finishes and sustainable light sources.

Grouped in the Rediscover collection, B.lux also presents other successful designs from different periods and designers, adapted to the latest trends in contemporary home design and contract work.

These B.lux products are featured in the 2014 catalogue of new releases. Its 76 pages include the new lamps forming the Dec, Classics, Rediscover, Tech and Outdoor lines. This new catalogue is available at stand F21/F11, B.lux, located in Hall 1.2 during the 2014 Light & Building trade fair. The stand, covering over 150 m2, is a David Abad design that evokes the architecture of Le Corbusier, its grey walls contrasting with the warmth of its natural finish pine floor.

The company B.lux, located in Spain's Basque Country, has been a manufacturer of designer lamps since 1980.
