Ambiente, the world's leading consumer-goods fair, will optimise its structure in the Passage section with a high-quality temporary exhibition hall from 2013. To be known as Hall 12.0, the new building will make attending the ‘Passage Gifts’ segment of the fair significantly more efficient for both exhibitors and visitors. With a length of 150 metres and a width of 50 metres, it will accommodate national pavilions from China, Hong Kong and Taipei on an area of 7,500 square metres (gross).
“We are delighted to be able to offer exhibitors and visitors significant advantages thanks to the new Hall 12.0. The new hall will be connected directly to the ‘Portalhaus’, the entrance building in the western section of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre, and Hall 10. The result will be a clear layout with short walking distances to the other Passage segments at Ambiente”, says Nicolette Naumann, Vice President Ambiente / Tendence.
Suppliers and buyers dealing in large volumes will profit in particular from this new arrangement. The new exhibition hall will shorten the distances between the Passage segments in Hall 10 in the western section of the Exhibition Centre, and Halls 2.A and 2.B in the eastern section. Thus, the ‘Passage Gifts’ segment in Halls 10.0 and 12.0 will have optimum links to the ‘Passage Home’ (10.1), ‘Passage Home & Garden Select’ (10.2), ‘Passage Table & Decoration’ (10.2), ‘Passage Table & Kitchen Select’ (10.3) and ‘Passage Dining & Housewares’ (Hall 10.4) segments.
As from Ambiente 2013, overseas exhibitors will present gift articles, such as games, arts & crafts, stationery and fashion accessories, e.g., bags, scarves, shawls and jewellery, in Halls 10.0 and 12.0.
Buyers will find home accessories, small pieces of furniture, textiles, luminaires, decoration ideas and outdoor and garden accessories at ‘Passage Home’ in Hall 10.1 and at ‘Passage Home & Garden Select’ in Hall 10.2.
Suppliers who used to exhibit in Halls 2.A and 2.B will be able to take advantage of the exhibition space for ‘Passage Table & Kitchen Select’ in Hall 10.3 and ‘Passage Dining & Housewares’ in Hall 10.4 where companies exhibit the latest kitchen and household articles for bulk buyers.
The ‘Passage Table & Decoration’ in Hall 10.2 presents new table-decoration ideas for quantity buyers. Halls 2.A and 2.B will no longer be used.
