Skybell by Estudi Manel Molina for Bover: a scrap from the dark adapted to every environment

Skybell is the first design from Estudi Manel Molina for Bover lighting company. An ample and extensive system of light structures, designed to adapt to any type of application.

The main characteristic of Skybell is its ability to convey joy and subtlety at the same time. A design exercise in which function determines form with both an elegant and discreet result. Thanks to its versatility is capable of adapting to spaces with multiple characteristics.

In a world in which we move through rules and strictness, Skybell brings a point of fantasy and freedom. Its structure allows various combinations, mixing its four sizes and its modular, circular, linear or catenary arrangement.

Each one of the “Campanitas” - affectionate diminutive proposed by Molina and her team - is a simple object, which does not want its own prominence except as a whole. “A cutout of the darkness” from which light springs, in which the concept has been reduced to its essence in an exercise in synthetic and precise design.
