Shortlist announced for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 15/16

Awards for the best designed restaurants and bars in the world, the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards announced the shortlist from the 2015/2016 entries. Among selected, we find five Spanish restaurants.

The shortlist includes 217 projects across 33 categories from the world's leading architects, interior designers, lighting designers and hospitality operators.

Now in its eighth year, the 2015 / 2016 awards received 987 submissions from the UK and 60 other countries.

Blue Wave (Barcelona-Spain) by El Equipo Creativo. Shortlisted for Best Europe Bar, at Colour Category and Surface Interiors Category

Picnic (Pamplona-Spain) by Enrique Kahle & Michel Arauzo Arquitectura. Shortlisted for Best Europe Bar

Tapas Bona Sort (Barcelona-Spain) by Jordi Ginabreda Studio. Shortlisted for Surface Interiors Category

The Garage (Valencia-Spain) by Francisco Segarra. Shortlisted for Pop-Up Category

The winners of the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards will be announced during the ceremony at London's Old Truman Brewery on the 29th September 2016.
