The garden season 2020 of the green industry is in the starting blocks and the customers are spending more and more time outdoors rather than indoors
Although there are still six months to go before the trade fair starts, the preparations for spoga + gafa that is taking place in spoga+gafa are in full swing. The efforts are paying off since the largest garden trade fair in the world had already recorded excellent application figures at the beginning of March. For the same period, the trade fair has registered a confirmed number of exhibitors comparable with the level of the previous year. In spite of the worldwide prevailing situation, companies from 64 countries have already applied, which corresponds to an further increase of eight percent. spoga+gafa 2020 is taking place from 6 to 8 September and presents lifestyle trends of green industry on exhibition space spanning 230,000 square metres. This year the focus of the exhibitors and the trade fair conception lies on the key theme “Sustainable Gardens”.
This year's key theme is present across all segments of spoga+gafa. Whereby the trade fair is presenting sustainable products and value creating ideas for the needs of the green industry in the run-up to and during the event together with the exhibitors. Together the trade fair participants are posing themselves the question as to how sustainable the garden has to be and and whether the expectations of the market players are coherent with those of their customers. Special lectures and product shows, innovative approaches and theme-specific tours of the grounds and surrounding area are the focus of the planning.
The international applications across all four segments garden living, garden bbq, garden creation & care and garden unique, once again reflect the wide selection of exhibits of spoga+gafa.. Keeping an eye on the current situation, Koelnmesse is looking forward to a successful spoga+gafa, which wis taking place in six months’ time. Should the event be postponed or cancelled due to the Corona virus, Koelnmesse will refund visitor tickets already purchased. Payments already paid will be reimbursed to exhibitors, who do not want to take part on a possible revised date. The partners of the trade fair will be informed about possible tendences during the second half of the year.
