“Echoes of Liguria: the tradition of craftsmanship in Italian chairs which inspired and continues to inspire modern design. A play of edges and rounding in the same item, alternating and blending for a chair which investigates tradition graphically.”
The design of the Noli chair, created by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for the Zanotta company and that could be seen at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2018, maintains aesthetic fidelity to the Ligurian model of craftsmanship, making it contemporary in the essential quality of its elements and clarity of form.
The legs with a minimal cross section lend the item lightness and elegance and ensure that the structure is stable and robust.
The design of the backrest and seat favour personal comfort and support for posture through enveloping form and light seat padding.
