The most international order platform in the second half of the year will appear in a new light from 24 to 27 June 2017. Thus,Tendence will not only be in pole position ahead of all other autumn order fairs but also be characterised by additional product groups and lots of new products revolving around the worlds of furnishing, living and giving for Europe's buyers.
At the same time, Tendence gives the high-volume international trade the chance to order in good time for their spring and summer collections. And, for the first time, there will be an extra hall for the overseas container business - visitors will find international sourcing in Hall 10.1.
“Our primary objective is growth and we are well on course. Around 80 percent of exhibition space has already been booked and our plan to enlarge the fair by rounding off and expanding established product groups, as well as adding new segments, is already showing signs of success. For example, Hall 8.0 is already fully booked up and the number of registrations received for the jewellery segment is particularly encouraging”, says Philipp Ferger, Group Show Director Tendence. The exhibitors who will be making presentations at the coming Tendence include renowned names such as A. Ruppenthal, Boltze, DPI, Edelman, Filius Zeitdesign, Fink, Gasper, Gilde, Hoff Interieur, Juchem, Kaemingk, Manuela Carl and TopTeam.
Improvements for visitors
Based on the new timing at the end of June, it has been possible to create a new hall constellation. In the interests of visitors and a better trade-fair experience, Messe Frankfurt can now provide more space and a new set of halls. Thus, Halls 8, 9 and 11 will be used and, because of the new visitor guidance system, it is possible to relinquish Hall level 9.2. Consequently, the Jewellery & Accessories section with jewellery, watches and fashion accessories will be in Hall 11.1 in future while Hall 11.0 will be available for Young Gifts and Culinary Gifts, which include gift articles and design-oriented table and kitchen accessories, as well as gourmet gifts, such has high-quality oils and tea specialities. In the ‘Pure & Elegant’ section in Hall 9.0, functional, timeless and modern-puristic furnishing concepts meet emotional, classic and elegant furnishing concepts with high-quality furniture, textiles and home accessories. Classic and decorative gift ideas are positioned in the ‘Gift Classics’ section in Hall 9.1 while furnishing ideas for the home and indoor and outdoor decorating are to be found in the ‘Lovely Home’ and ‘Seasonal Decoration’ sections in Hall 8.0.
Buying stimuli at the point of sale
Renowned and design-oriented are the ten companies in the ‘Village’ where they present a variety of ideas for the trade and show how products can be arranged for maximum impact at the point of sale. The companies taking part are Cedon, designimdorf, Charles & Marie, Donkey, Gift Company, Good old friends, Mark's Europe, Nogallery, Paperproducts and Werkhaus.
In Hall 11.1, young fashion and accessories companies not only show how elegant and attractive their products are but also how to present them effectively. Several times a day throughout the fair, they will be demonstrating the right looks and trendy accessories in a live show.
Tendence Academy - event programme for European retailers
The Tendence Academy programme offers wide-ranging inspiration for the retail trade with great impulses for in-shop decoration and window dressing, as well as start-up help for the online trade. At the stage in Hall 9.1, there will be lectures for jewellery and accessory buyers and for the green sector. This is also exactly the right place for retailers and service providers wanting to learn more about web shops and online marketing.
Talents in Halls 9.0 and 11.1
Young craftspeople and jewellery designers have the opportunity to exhibit their latest creations and small product series in two special areas within the framework of Messe Frankfurt's ‘Talent's promotional programme. The Modern Crafts Talents make their presentations in the ‘Pure & Elegant’ section in Hall 9.0 while jewellery designers are to be found in the ‘Accessories & Jewellery’ section in Hall 11.1.
