CIFM / Interzum Guangzhou 2013 concluded with such success that expand day exhibition for 2014

CIFM / Interzum Guangzhou 2013 was another great success, reaffirmed top industry event position in Asia. The trade fair attracted some 60,975 trade visitors (combined with the China International Furniture Fair-Office Show segment), with product showcases from 1,095 exhibitors spanning across 130,000 sqm.

Held from 27 to 30 last March, the event features exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, included nine Country / Regional Pavilions from Chile, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, USA and AHEC. CIFM / Interzum Guangzhou 2013 has increased both the number of exhibitors and visitors in respect to the previous edition.

More time for business at CIFM / interzum guangzhou in 2014

Shortly after the successful closing of the event this year, the organizers of the CIFM / interzum guangzhou, Asia's largest and most comprehensive trade fair for the woodworking machinery, furniture production and interior design industry, have announced new and longer show dates for the next season.

Extended to five days from the initial four and taking place a day later than usual, the long-running event, which will be in its 11th run in 2014, will happen 28 March - 1 April in China.

This change is necessitated by the industry's call for more time to discuss business at the show. Visitor traffic has been heavy and exhibitors were often faced with the “positive problem” of having limited time to attend to more prospective customers. Buyers, on the other hand, have found it challenging to cover the sprawling array of products on offer over four days.

“With the rescheduling and additional day in 2014, we mark the fresh start of interzum guangzhou and look forward to new changes and breakthroughs for the next ten years,” said David Feng, managing director of organizer Koelnmesse China.

The second season of the renowned China International Furniture Fair, which CIFM / interzum guangzhou has been held concurrently with for the last decade, will also see corresponding adjustments in show period.
