In honour of this achievement, it will be on display at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) along with other winners as part of the Innovation, Design & Technology or IDT Expo during the Business of Design Week (BODW).

Canvas is a surreal seating experience that takes the form of a 2-dimensional canvas measuring only 5cm in thickness. Bewildered customers are able to lounge effortlessly on this flat image leaning against a wall, made possible through a clever construction of structured fabrics hidden within. This contemporary piece of functional art is ideal for the modern yet space-deprived metropolitan home.

Since its launch by innermost in Autumn 2013, Canvas has exhibited in some of the industry's most prominent trade fairs including Maison et Objet in Paris, Light+Building in Frankfurt, designjunction in Milan, ICFF in New York, and many more.

YOY [joi] is a Tokyo based design studio composed of Naoki Ono, a spatial designer, and Yuki Yamamoto, a product designer. Started in 2011, their design theme is to create a new story between space and objects.
